New projection system to be installed....
A new lamphouse and mirror system will soon be installed in the South Bay Drive-In #1 theatre. This new technology has recently been developed, primarily, for use in I-MAX theatres; however, the system has proved to be perfect for drive-in theatre applications. This new system increases the light reaching the screen six-fold. The results are stunning; at last we have the quality of an indoor theatre image on a drive-in theatre screen.
