In the beginning...

The South Bay Drive-In was built in the early 1960's as a single-screen drive-in theatre. During the 1980's, two additional screens were added.

South Bay Swap Meet...

The South Bay Swap Meet first opened in the late 1970's. From its humble beginnings, the swap meet has now operates on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The South Bay Swap Meet extremely successful because of its high level of services provided to both buyers and sellers and it's close proximity to the Mexican boarder.


De Anza Land and Leisure Corp...


De Anza Land and Leisure Corp. owns and operates the South Bay Drive-In Theatre and six other drive-in theatres (five with swap meets) in the states of California, Arizona, Utah and Georgia. De Anza is a successor company started by a group of drive-in theatre pioneers who began their drive-in careers in the late 1940's.
